Our business was founded in 2017, and the two directors have over 30 years of experience in legal services between them.
Our Mission
is to help our clients to keep their legal planning documents up to date as their wishes, personal circumstances (and those of their beneficiaries), Taxation and the Law change through the years – sometimes slowly, sometimes frequently. We can’t keep a lawyer by your side day and night (we are both happily married!) but we can do the next best thing – see details of our unique and very cost-effective solution, the Peace of Mind Service, and save money too!
The Directors
Marrianne Allen is the Legal Services Director, and has wide experience in what is called Private Client work – Wills, Powers of Attorney, Probate and (although she won’t touch it with a bargepole) conveyancing. But a useful understanding of property law helps no end. Marrianne is a qualified Probate Practitioner.
Stephen Pett has over 20 years experience in Will Writing, and also has a considerable background in Financial Services which can be helpful in complex estates. He has not practiced as an Independent Financial Adviser for many years, but he does know some good ones. He has been a Regional Chairman of the Society of Will Writers for over a decade and founded the independent SWW Trust Corporation back in 2004, though he is now merely a shareholder.
He is also the author of Inheritance Tax Secrets but hasn’t had the time to update it in several years.
Steve is more on the generic advice side for complex situations but relies on Marrianne’s expertise to ensure that all documents reflect what is intended.
